2019: Sentimentally, a significant year for us

We are often so caught up in the fast-paced environment of hospitality, that we forget or don’t have the time to reflect on our work, and express gratitude to everyone who makes our dream a reality. 2019 has been remarkable. 

Looking back at 2019, the year Baqueano was born, we must say that we are both proud of what our little restaurant has achieved in just 6 months, and extremely grateful for the people that gave us the opportunity to do it. 

When a year ago we started working in this project, we put all our time and effort in doing this from scratch: coming up with a name, designing the logo, developing the menu, planning the indoors decoration, contacting providers… Considering how hard we worked, we were hoping for the best outcome, but never would we have imaged that in only half a year, we would be where we are now. 

We’ve had our challenges, and we must admit that the journey has been pretty stressful and exasperating at times, but we’ve grown and learnt so much along the way, and a lot of great memories have been created. Let’s hope for more in the future… This year was just the warm up. 

To all of our team members, service providers, product suppliers, supporters, followers, friends, and to every single customer who decided to give us a chance - THANK YOU. You’ve made us very happy and won’t ever forget your support.
