Introducing Baqueano-ish
Welcome to Baqueano-ish. If you have arrived to this website it is likely you might have heard of us. We are Adriana, Jorge, Veronica and Borja; the team behind Baqueano (to learn more click here). And this is our blog.
Baqueano-ish could be described as a channel from which we can communicate with our customers one on one. Baqueano is the reality of a long-term dream for us and we are excited to share with you, on a regular basis, the behind-the-scene process of this journey, from personal anecdotes to exclusive content and an inside of what it is like to work in a family-run restaurant such as Baqueano.
The name Baqueano-ish originated from adding the suffix ‘-ish’ to Baqueano (obviously). In the English language, this suffix is often added to nouns to indicate “having the characteristics of”, “near or about”, “to a certain extent”. And this is the reason behind the name of this blog: the main topic will be Baqueano, but from a different and personal point of view. We consider the suffix to be very British - in our country such suffix doesn’t exist - and we liked the idea of adopting an English trait and adding it to the non-English name of the restaurant.
We hope you will enjoy our content and that we get the chance to know each other better. All feedback is highly appreciated as it helps us grow and constantly improve. For now, that’s all from us. We will see you very soon.
Gracias!
